Lady Palm “Rhapis excelsa”
🌱
Rhapis excelsa, also known as Lady Palm or Broadleaf Lady Palm, was part of NASA's Clean Air Study. It effectively removes indoor air pollutants like ammonia, formaldehyde, and xylene. As it grows older, the brown, fibrous leaf bases fall off, revealing green canes that look like bamboo, earning it the nickname "Bamboo Palm."
